Every Skin & Hair Product I’m Using Right Now

There’s a few standards I like to stick by when it comes to any skincare or hair care products I purchase. Affordable, legitimate, and natural.. and while it’s been a few years coming to find that correlating trio, I’ve learned that it takes some effort and falling off of the expensive beauty trends.

All skin is different and while I believe it’s important to try our best in using non-toxic products, keeping them affordable and accessible is just as crucial. When I first turned to using more natural (affordable) products I noticed a new direction in the way I viewed my personal skincare: less is more. Less harsh chemicals, less fragrances, less products, less money, (and LONG lasting health!)

Although all of these products are not perfectly clean, the brands hold themselves to a higher accountability which I know I can trust- and work for my skin. If you’re looking for beneficial products to up your skincare game, here are the tried and true products I’m using right now…

Fresh Soy Face Cleanser

This is a product I have used in the past and came back to just recently. Already just a few days after using I noticed a huge change in my skin. My face feels soft, smooth, refreshed, all without stripping the natural moisture. Plus, I feel good knowing it’s made with nourishing ingredients like cucumber and rose water! Fresh, I’m never leaving you again..

Cocokind Raspberry Vinegar Toner

After cleansing my face in the mornings I always spritz with this toner. It helps regulates any oils in my skin and preps for moisturizer all while controlling breakouts. It does have a strong vinegar smell so be careful to not spray directly in to your nose! (Speaking from experience)

Cocokind Chia Facial Oil

Once I started using facial oils, I have never turned back. This one especially from Cocokind, one of my favorite skincare brands, balances the moisture in my face before I apply any makeup. I also apply a few drops at night to lock in the moisture while I’m sleeping and reduce any puffiness.

Jade Roller

With all the tension that gets built up in my face and temples the jade roller has been a life saver. I keep mine in the fridge and use after moisturizing. When it’s cold it helps reduce any inflammation and is so soothing on the skin.

Cocokind MyMatcha All-Over Moisture Stick

This one is a staple for me at any time of the day. I keep one in the bathroom and one in my purse basically at all times. I apply on dry lips or underneath my eyes before bed if I feel like I need a little more moisture overnight.

Cocokind Skin Butter

You might see the underlying trend here.. (Cocokind everything). I use this skin butter in place of lotion on the daily. I love this one because it is deeply hydrating and actually moisturizes your skin unlike most lotions or body oils. It has the best texture!

Dr. Bronner’s Pure-Castile Liquid Soap

My husband and I both use the peppermint scent- which is extremely refreshing. It’s been our body wash for some time now and the bottle lasts forever. All I do is dilute a few drops on to a loofah and scrub all over my body. Did I mention it’s good for just about all other cleaning as well? (Yes in your household!)

Purezero Kale Shampoo & Conditioner

Hair care is an area that I’ve struggled to find the most affordable and natural products (which actually work). While I stumbled upon this brand at my local Whole Foods, I noticed their quality and dedication to natural products and amazing smelling shampoos didn’t fall short. The best part: it’s totally affordable! And works wonders.

Primal Kitchen Coconut Vanilla Collagen Peptides

It’s no secret I’m a long time fan of collagen. I originally started adding it in to my diet to reduce joint and muscle pain that I was having from my workouts. Since then, it’s exceeded my expectations. When taking on a consistent basis, my hair is healthier, my skin is glowing, my nails grow longer, and the taste is incredible in a morning smoothie. Bonus: there’s no dairy, soy, whey, or added sugar!

On Occasion (Throughout the Week)

Cocokind Chlorophyll Mask

This is the all-in-one mask treatment for any skincare need. I use it especially during a breakout or if my face is feeling a bit dull. For me, this usually comes on at night after cleanser and before a little toner + moisturizer action.

Cocokind Facial Cleansing Oil

Hydrating my skin has been one of the most important factors for me in reducing redness, puffiness, and evening out the softness in my face all together. I use this cleansing oil on occasion at night in place of my normal cleanser whenever I feel the need. It helps to balance out any dryness and keeps my skin extra hydrated for the morning.
