5 Home Quarantine Projects We’re Tackling

Home projects, AKA what we’ve unintentionally found as our new side hobby during quarantine. I’m not the least bit displeased as it’s kept us busy finishing our new home, and forcing us to have some more quality time. I never realized furnishing your home would include a whole new type of bonding with your spouse (lol). I have to admit though, a little grit and creativity when it comes to doing your own home projects is totally worth it for saving money and adding character to a space.

There’s been a few things on our list since we first moved in to the house. We had high hopes of restructuring our kitchen island, painting the walls, adding garden beds, and much more. While we’ve been able to tackle a few of them, we’re really honing down during this quarantine time to get them finished. Our dining table and chairs (finally) arrived yesterday, and after returning the first table… (horrible mistake on my part) we finally found a match with this gorgeous one from Anthropologie. I’m completely obsessed with it and will be ordering tons more items from Anthro to compliment the piece.

Have you found some extra time to tackle any home projects lately? Scroll on to see what we’re currently crossing off our “honey do” list…

1.Updating the Bedroom Wall With Fresh Paint

Still deciding if I want to add this gorgeous wallpaper or go all white.

2. Sprucing Up the Front Yard Lanscape

We’re going for an earthy look with a few pops of blossoming flowers.

3. Finish Designing Our Living Room Space

This room above by Camille Styles is our inspiration. See the couch we’re currently waiting on for arrival!

4. Learning How to Cook a New Cuisine

First on the list: All things THAI. Trying this recipe from Half Baked Harvest.

5. Staining a New Dining Bench

We have this one here. It needed A LOT of help, so we’re trying a stain that matches our dining table.
